Trifecta Syndrome
Thermodynamics &
multi-system disorders
One of our goals is to identify hypothetical correlations between different pathologies that could give rise to the symptoms observed at the organismal level in patients experiencing chronic, multi-system disorders.
When applying our methods to the study of patients with multimorbidity in hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, we have identified a potential pathophysiology centered around dysfunction in the myogenic response of the microvasculature.
Here is a brief infographic describing a single closure of correlations in such a case, which we propose constitutes sufficient pathophysiological closure to be considered an coherent emergent, progressive condition: Trifecta syndrome. Empirical data and rigorous testing is needed to verify, correct, and/or expand on these theoretical descriptions.
Please see our contact page if you are a scientist or clinician with interest in this particular cluster of conditions or related pathophysiological modeling.
